PC3 Mapping

Hello all,
This may be a bit early, but here is my mapping question.

My bike had a Micron high mount system on it when I got it. Since then, I have changed only the cans to D&D.

So, when I do get a PC3 will the mapping be dependant on the cans or the pipes ? I am assuming the existing Micron mid / exhaust pipes are what is more important, not so much the can ??

The mapping will depend on the dyno and tuner giving your bike the best air fuel mixture for maximum performance.

Get a custom map done, its worth it.

I'd say your right about the pipe styles being the determining factor and not so much on the can. Any map that's close to what you actually have will work... you can adjust it a little if you can tell it needs some tweaking. Madbuyer is right though, getting a map made for your specific bike is the way to go. Every bike is a little different, and it will maximize your gains. There is a guy in Austin that's pretty well known, I think he charges $250-ish?

sounds like tomorrow will be a day of insight. refering to the dyno appt i think you mentioned? did you see the one V2only4me put up? Be cool if you could get one like that. My turn will be coming up later this spring. Install new exhaust, pcIIIr, and Dyno. Kyle Racing is only about 3 hours drive for me. Hoping I can get my bike in his shop...
