RC rebuild

This is the first part of the tear down and general parts list gathering session. I laid her down at Roebling Road in Savannah during a riding school session and after I got her back to the shop I vowed never to take her out on the track again. I will get another one for that. I will post the parts and pics as the parts come in. She is in good hands with Wideopen Motorsports in Charleston SC cuz the owner has an SP-2 also.

I'll bet you left a sample on your seat!

Seriously, very sorry to hear you went down, but gts is right; we all go down on rare occasion, usually cause were pushing into new territory not yet familiar.

All stripped down and ready to clean and get the frame touched up with some factory paint. I was hoping to make it look like a Nicky AMA replica bike but the frame and swing arm would need to be polished and that is too much work. Hopefully by next week the majority of the parts will be on and waiting on the Skins from China.

The Same as the 04 nicky version but with all the sponsor stickers on it. Have you talked to anyone that has bought the Hong Kong skins? I hope they are close to the OEM ones. I know they are not exact, I really didn't want to pay all that money for OEM ones. Plus the tank cost $900 because of the Honda sticker not being replaceable being that it is under the clear coat. It should look pretty BA when it is done. Maybe those lame squids would ask questions about the RC rather than poke fun if it had a full race sticker kit.
