Dainese TRQ boots "in" or "out"

i currently own a pair of Sidi Vertigo boots which have been pretty good except that the plastic ankle guard catch on my rearsets every once in awhile. For this reason i started looking into the Dainese TRQ boots and the "in" model which tucks inside the pant.
Has anyone had any experience with these? Any disadvantage to the "in" compared to the "out" version? Has anyone tried either?

I have the TRQs. I like them, just make sure your leathers zip OVER them. I have a set of Dainese leathers that work just great with them, as they are designed for "ins", but my older Teknic suit, which was designed to go inside of boots, doesn't really like to zip over the ins...

Also, beware of suits that may have the ankle zippers on the inside of the ankles, because if you wear ins, those zippers will be sawing away at your rear sets and side panels if you start hanging off too much.

The Dainese stuff costs more, but it lasts for years and years, in my experience.

I have a Dainese suit along with Sidi Vertigo Corsa boots and I wear the corsa boots on the inside. The suit is designed to wear the boots tucked in, not the boots designed to be tucked in... So if your suit isnt made to wear the boots in you cant really wear them in. Make sense?

i understand....but looking at the TRQ "ins" they look super slim. The only thing that prevents me from wearing my Sidi Vertigo's on the inside is the large plastic shin peice, but i did not even think about the zipper being on the inside.

Maybe i'll just stick with the "out" version. Thanks for the help guys.

The only thing I hate about the "Out" Boot/Pant combo is that the annoying bump the leathers create in the boot. I have the AP Stars MX-5 boot and the pants bind in the boot wntil I get the the riding position and then all is well. is this something you guys experience with the higher quality suits? I could only afford the Frank Thomas stuff for my first leather 2 piece.
