Not My Bike Maintenance Day

Ever had one of these?
A friend of mine is out to sea right now and ask if I would ride his bike and keep the tires and fluids running while he is out.
He didn't ask me to clean it up or do any maintenance, but I just couldn't help myself. Figure he needed it done anyway.

You're a good friend.

I like the front fender on those ... reminds me big ol' side burns!

LOL, didn't see it that way before, but I will now!
It's not perfect, but it is MUCH better.

I'd have taken a few more hours on mine, but still I'm much happier, and hopefully he will be too.

Dude, someone needs to revoke his motorcycle card until he can learn to clean his shit up. That is a travesty even for a Kwak....

Good job on the clean up, Adam.

HONDA CLEANER!!!!!!

Never thought a Kawi could be so clean???
That's why, lol!!!

That, a bit of water, DW40 for the kickstand (it actually works now),
and a WHOLE LOT of elbow grease.

Can't believe he left it like that. I cleaned mine inside and out before I left for what will now end up being 8 months!! Anyway, guess that's the difference between and RC owner and a Kwak owner. Good Job Adam! BZ lol

Oooohhh... An 04/05 10arrrrggh! Just like the 05/06 gsxr1000, that is the gen to have. They gained weight and lost their edge in 06. That thing will feel like a bicycle after riding an RC51. That wouldn't be my choice of color, but the titanium silver on those looks sweet.

I'm surprised the Honda cleaner didn't react to the paint! Hehe; good job Adam it looks great

Thanks guys!
I couldn't let him show me up, so I had my maintenance day today.
I went in for a deep cleaning. Farings came off and everything from swingarm to headlights, forks to brakes got some love today. I even scrubbed the inside of my farings.
Did an oil change and did my chain up too.

Wash and wax too, but that goes without saying.

All in all, I spent about 12 hours on mine today.
My back hurts and I'm going to bed.
