Got a thumbs up from a Ninja rider

Felt quite proud today while cruising along on 95 south after work. Got passed by a bright green Ninja 600. I thought he was eyeballing me and trying to provoke me into a triple digit race. But, no. He was actually double and triple checking out my decade old scoot. Gave me the turn around and big thumbs up.

Over the past 15 years of riding, every bike I've owned has been to prepare me for a RC51

On my way home I'm not in a hurry. I let the little .6L pass me.

Nothing wrong with those Ninja guys! They're good kids with big hearts. Well I am anyways.

This reminds me of almost every time I'm out on the Ruckus.

When I see an oncoming bike it is a reflex to stick the left hand out to acknowledge...however I never get a response on the Ruckus.

The worst was when I was coming up on a 250 or 300 Ninja...he saw me...and I saw him...I leaned out and looked directly at him. Threw the hand out (with plenty of time)...he shook his head at me and kept going.

Damn Ninjas...and on a 250/300 of all bikes...haha.

Sounds like it's time to install a SP mill into the Ruckus

Well the environment out in UT is much different than NC...so I get lots of love out here.

It was just funny that guys would be embarrassed to return a waive from a guy on a Ruckus...especially the guys on crap bikes.

Don't feel bad, When i was back in Colorado i'd take the lil Ape RS50 out. Thing was louder then my RC.....but in a 2 stroke way.....i'd be screaming down the road, anybody outside would just freeze, jaw dropped as they would see a grown man on a little weed whacker sport bike blow by then lock up the brakes sliding sideways into my driveway. I got so many dirty looks when i'd take it out....my neighborhood hated me because of that little thing.
