Foaming

I want to replace some of the foam pads on the inside of my fairing and around the radiators. Is there a product out there that is an adhesive-backed sheet of similar foam that I could just cut out what I need?

Best get a spray glue that won't attack eurethane (If it does, the foam will melt and become lumpy). 3M makes a spray which I used recently to stick foam onto the underside of a car bonnet.

Spray it onto suitable foam pieces (You can order from Honda I think) and apply to clean plastic.

I just ordered the OEM foam pads, scraped off the old glue residue, and glued the new pads in place.

So we're saying just get the OEM stuff? Same as the heat pads?

Has just realized that I don't care what it costs until I get the bill! :roll eyes: ...

The bike runs cooler without the foam albeit at the expense of more engine noise

Yeah thats what I was thinking, any ideas on what to use for heat pad? I've googled some stuff, I noticed that my fairing warped at the bottom near the back right because there was nothing between it and the exhaust but there isn't anything there anyway.

Ive looked at cool tape and dynomat, just wondering if anyone has used these?
