RC51 bucking/sputtering

Ok, well I've had my RC(SP1) for about a month and its been having a strange problem. When you're in neutral, the bike rev's perfectly. When you accelerate slowly it revs fine through all the gears. But when you go to get on it, it will buck at around 3-4k rpms, until you let off and accelerate slower. I have the pair and flapper mod done, Yoshi slips, and the 600rr coil convesion.

At first i thought the problem was my TPS/MAP sensor since it was throwing codes, so i replaced them with SP2 throttle bodies, injectors, and airbox and modified an sp2 map onto my PCii. The FI code went away, but the bucking is still there. I also changed my battery just in case it was a voltage problem.

Any help would be appreciated. Could it really be a tune issue??? Its not throwing a code anymore, but the problem is really irritating.

Could be a dozen different things. Did it have that problem before all the changes?

I believe it did, but I always attributed it to the shitty map and bad plugs.

Did you do the mods or buy it that way?

I assume you eliminated all the easy stuff, air filters, fuel line kinks, chain, sprockets, vac leaks, wire harness connections to everything etc. Beyond that I would suspect the mods first. Make sure they were done right

It will rev in neutral to the the redline with no issues?

In gear it bucks at 4k, but can you get it to the red line if you slowly bring up the revs to and past 4k to redline? Happens in all gears?

Is the buck violent or just surging and cutting out?

Popping? Backfires?

Yes, I did the mods myself. All the easy stuff has been checked. It revs all the way to redline in neutral no problem. and I can bring it up to redline in all gears as long as I use less than 40% throttle until I pass like 6k then roll on it slowly. I wouldn't say its violent, but definitely more than a surge. No popping and no backfiring.

I think you need a SP2 ECU.

Im pretty sure i dont. The problem isn't the throttle bodies/related sensors. It did it with my SP1 throttles too, it just threw a code while it was doing it. I read up on them before buying them just to make sure. I dont remember anyone saying 100% that you need the ECU. Just the throttles, rubber boots, airbox, and stacks. To take care of the map difference you can copy a SP2 map over to your SP1 map in the PCii

OK!Maybe you don`t need SP2 ECU.Do you have Power Commander 2?If you have, you can`t put SP2 map in there.Just SP1 maps.

I should've been more clear. I loaded an sp1 zero map and copied the values from a sp2 map. In anycase could it really be the map? I've loaded like 3 on with the same results.

I'd look at fuel delivery, pressure, pump, filter.
