Angry Fairing frustration!!!!!!!!!

Hi to all. Well I have an 05 RC and threw it down in Malibu Ca.a couple months back. Tore up my Baby pretty bad. Since, I've replaced the clip-ons as well as my pegs. Straightend and replaced fairing mounts she's ready for plastics again,(after a few test rides now that my ribs have healed still rocking broken wrist). Man, do you guys have a take on china plastics? Are they good enough for a temp fix till i can get the money for OEM set or am I wasting time and money? Any advise is more than welcomed. Also has anyone bought these from Ebay? I've heard so many people say they just don't fit well. Thank you all for your advise or input.

i would save and buy OEM fairings. there is a really good article in this months Performance Bikes magazine about Chinese knock off plastics....basically its hit or miss. They do list a site where you can purchase them and upon receipt if you are not satisfied they can be returned for another set.

thank you very much. so it looks like the plastics are just cheap crap! what are your thoughts about hot bodies ama fiberglass? I know it wouldn't be oem but I can get the upper, lower, with front fender from indysuperbikes.com for like $370 to my door. I would just have to figure out headlights. thought about 2" round hid lights.

Well I have had mine set of fairing from ebay for about a year, it did take a while to get them to fit properly but to me at the price of OME it would take a while to get that type of money. The fairings still look great to me and so far on melting or dragging. I may purchase the OME fairing after I finish other mods. I really didn't see me paying for someones else fairing that had scratches or tabs missing when these were descent to me.

I know it sounds cheesy, but I think I going to do the European white, red and black. Living in Ca. I've never seen that color around and kinda want to be the first on the block to own one. That being said I have one good stock left side fairing in really good shape only a couple minor scratches I'll post a pic in a little bit.
