Show your clutch some love

I decided to bleed the clutch this afternoon since I haven't done so since I have bought the bike and had no clue when the previous owner did it. That's not Coke in that bottle, it's the old fluid. Not sure if it always comes out like this but I can't imagine that being good. It was black.

That's actually water moisture mixed with brake fluid.
And it's a nasty combination.

My old 'Busa had an incorrect clutch master cylinder diaphragm installed by a local shop.
One day I went to do a routine bleed of the clutch system and all I got was sludge.
Took a lot of time and effort to clean out the clutch system.
From now on, I do all the work and not some bozo.

If you think that is bad....take a look at your fork fliud if you haven't already done so.

Routine maintenance is where safe motorcycling starts, good to see you are on top of things.
