Never in person.
I think there only like 200 of them imported to the US. That's a rare see

Great car. Too bad he modified one of the most iconic and rare cars in history. Still wish it was mine

I see those in Indy during the race season.

Last weekend I saw a hatchback that you can see here...fuggly if you ask me.

That might very well be an F40 LM... they were a specially modified version of the F40.

Yeah, that's gotta be an F40 LM... it's worth MUCH more than a regular F40... it was modified that way either from Ferrari... or the owner tried to make it an LM replica... but I'm guessing it's the real deal.

You betcha I have.
There's tons of rich geezers here in Sarasota.
The F40 was parked outside of a (you guessed it) bank.
Nice smoked glass cover over the engine.

Seen an old lady (about 65 or 70) driving a yellow 512 Berlinetta Boxer down the street in 5th gear at about 35 MPH.
Nothing like lugging the crap out of a spirited flat-12 engine.
I could hear the gears in the transaxle clacking half a block away.
All I could think was have mercy on that car lady. Like hitching a thoroughbred to a plow.

And one day during a traffic jam on I-75 south of Tampa one weekend, I ran across these two cars, one behind the other.

Come to find out, they're both owned by this doctor who invented the gel-cap. Dude's a billionaire.
He's got a 30-car garage packed with exotic cars.

Every year, they have a charity event in St. Armands circle, and the circle has members of the Ferrari Owners Club showing off their cars.
