I have a time delay relay instead .... my headlight goes on 10 seconds after I turn the key so it saves the battery during start up... its plug and play and $35

Yeah ive seen the switch on scotts too, id buy one except I just buy the Euro switch off ebay for 30-40 bucks. Same thing MINUS the ability to turn off the light, but it has the pass feature I really want! I purchased a similar one years ago for the RIGHT side that has headlight on off associated with the start/kill switch but the wiring was all wrong and I didnt have the patience to re wire it so it sits in my tool box.

Just don't install hid lights. Save yourself the $140. I ride my RC at night all the time and have never needed more light. The high beam switch works just fine for flashing other drivers too.
