Rossi Signs with Yamaha for 2015 & 2016 seasons.

The Doctor's still going to continue using the M1 - He's just re-signed!

Pedrosa got his two year renewal also if I remember right. I'm assuming Marc did too?
What about Lorenzo?

I believe it was you, Jondog, who coined the praise, "If Rossi is the Doctor, then Lorenzo is the Surgeon".

We're still waiting on news about said Surgeon but I wouldn't be surprised to see his contract renewed. He's just going through a tough patch, it seems - but a very talented rider - of that there is no doubt.

If Pedrosa got renewed, then Lorenzo deserves his renewal too. Sadly though that means no openings for the Espargaro brothers, who both appear to be very tallented future champions....

Completely agree about the Espargaro boys. Pol is doing very well in his rookie year and it's pretty exciting to me to watch the two of them.

Lorenzo will snap out of it, I hope.

The RCV1000R's aren't doing as well as I had hoped, maybe Nicky Hayden and Scott Redding would agree.

Yep, the Honda RCV1000R's are some way behind... Maybe Honda will make them a bit faster enough to be a threat to Yamaha factory bikes for next year. I guess they have to be careful not to make them competitive against their own factory team... which is kinda like fixing the race, really...

I'd like to see the Espargaro brothers together in a factory team sometime in the future.
Maybe they'll get factory rides from 2017... by then Lorenzo will probably have outlived his days on a factory team and Rossi might be ready to hang up his helmet.

Will be interesting to see what Suzuki's factory bike is like. And maybe Aprilia will make an entry into Moto GP? Hell, Ducati might even become competitive by then....

Enjoying watching the racing this season. I plan to be at Motegi again this year...

Any bets on MM being champion by then?

His little brother won Assen in his class too.

MM looks as if he's trying to follow in the footsteps of Rossi with his record of wins, so I think he might win championships for some years - unless he gets seriously injured (I'd hope not!)... then maybe things will change?

I suppose his little brother might work his way up too.

Never a dull moment...
