How many miles are on your RC??

Mine is 6500 miles, 2006 model SP2.

I was wondering how reliable can be the engine, on highway use. I have a 2002 VFR with 39000 miles and runs great, no problemas at all, change the oil and filter every 5000 km or twice a year.

Greetings from Mexico

05 RC51 w/ power kit Odometer read 21K but really about 15K. I have heard of an RC with over 100K on it. Have not seen it, but I have been told that if you do the oil changes religiously they can last.

2000-18,300 mi. Had 16,300 when I got it. My first RC, so I'll see how reliable and long it lasts, cause I really dont ever see selling this bike.
It sure is a noisy bike! I rode with a brain bucket instead of my normal full helmet the other day. I'd read someone else's comment on how loud these bike's are so I wanted to see. I was pretty surprised, you can hear a lot of different things going on.
As far as reliability, imo, (I've only been riding street for 4 years) the fact that these bikes were designed by some of the best minds of the day, and a decade later they are still top shelf bikes by people who know; I think my bike's gonna last a long long time. I'm hoping 50 - 60k+ mi. before some major rebuild to the engine?

There you go! That's pretty impressive. So far, you got the highest mileage. How many of those miles did you get to put on?

Whoops, I stand corrected by freestyle. He got that post in before I finished. Jeez, getting old

Whoops, just ran a converter, 70,000 Km = 43,500 approx. Waldo's still wins.
