The biggest, I guess you could say issue with that setup is that it requires a converter box from the 4 lights that the RC comes factory with to a 2 light set up. But with it, the user could run the normal 3157 incandescent lightbulb and not have to mess with a LED flasher relay or get LED style 3157.
For me parts were cheap, ebay lenses and the tail light parts (one 90s blazer tail light housing with the wiring pig tails) out of a junk yard. I'm sure many other cars have a similar tail light configuration that will work.
Yeah I've read the forum post on this a few times, I was thinking of getting this setup with the integrated tail lights but the more i think about it I like the pulsing Proton flush mounts I have on the front and want them on the rear so it will probably make more sense to di it your way.
