Going from a 200 tire to 190

When I purchased my 05' RC last July, the previous owner had a new Dunlop Sportmax Q2 200/50/17 tire on the stock rim. I thought that I would be leaning pretty well into corners, but would still have an inch to go until the edge of the tire. In my opinion, I find this to be an out of the ordinary tire for the RC51. Anyway, I know a lot of RC riders prefer the 190/55/17 tire. Now it's time to replace the rear tire.

Ant recommendations? What are you all running?

Cheers

190/55 for me. Ran a few sets of q2's, loved them, tried a michelin power pure, didnt like it, current tire is a bridgestone s20r. Loving it so far, and running pretty low pressure, like 30f-27r. they warm up well and seem to grip really well.

Yeah, thanks for the info.

I just picked up a Dunlop Q3 rear tire from Jake Wilson for $136. I went with Dunlop since I have a new Dunlop Q2 on the front.

190/55 Battlax. Too many straight and boring roads to use the PP3's

Duct tape can't fix stupid...but it sure helps muffle the sound
