Tyres - Where do u get them from?

Hey Guys,

I'm in the market for a couple of set of tyres, Track slicks and some Pilot Power Pure's for street duty.

Where do you guys recommend.? and prices expected to pay

Need to find who will ship to Aus

I run just the standards RC51/SP2 size 120/70/17 190/50/17

Also bearing in mind shipping to Australia. :-)

Thanks for the help

Mickey

I get all my stuff from sportbiketrackgear.com (I believe they are a sponsors on the site) - my advice is to check out the website and give them a call and see what they can do for you! Hope this helps (also, I don't think they have slicks but I'm pretty sure they could try to get them for you).

yea, brian from stg is a solid guy. i'd give them a call and see what they can do for you. i'd also get 190/55 instead of the /50, gives you a bit better turn in and more meat in the turns.

You may want to get them from Europe, where you can obtain the Dunlop Sportsmart tire that's not available in USA. Bike UK's only 5 star rated tire.

i just put on a set of power pures front and back and my buddy put on a pure in the front and pilot power 2ct for the rear, we purposely put them on at the exact same time to see and feel the difference, we switch bikes at times, we are also gauging the miles we get on them for comparison.

btw, we bought them from rockymountainatv

I get my tires from one of various online shops in the US. I have some close family friends on a US military base, who don't mind helping me out, which makes shipping cheap.

Unfortunately none of these stores will ship to Japan and if they did - the cost would be prohibitive, you might find this is the case with shipping to Aus too. I don't think there's an easy solution, unless you know someone on a US military base nearby willing to help you out.
