Does anyone actually ride two-up on the RC's?

My girlfriend (now wife) used to ride with me on the 04 600rr a lot back in the day and it was decently comfortable for about an hours ride or so. Well, i finally convinced her to go get ice cream with me the other night on the RC, and when she hopped on the back, we realized she would not be able to ride. the passenger pillion is set so far back, that she is literally can;t lean against me. she used to put her hands on the tank or around me, but the way the seating is spread out, it can't be done for us. i have a sergeant seat, so i can't slide back as much...but that shouldn't make a difference. AND, her shoes touched the yoshi's.

Just wondering if you guys are actually riding two up.

and yes, i've seen the you tube video of the two "Jamopes" that ends in a road rash mess with a wheelie in between.

No one in my family articulates enough to ride as a sportbike passenger.
I pulled the passenger pegs to install the Sato exhaust hangers.

I have been two up with my wife but the spacing did also cause a slight issue , no problems with the pipes though

In the 11 years I've owned my RC - I have only see one other RC with a passenger and that passenger did not look comfortable. Frankly, I can't see any sportbike as a comfortable ride for a passenger. I certainly wouldn't want to ride as a passenger on one.

This a FUNNY topic... I went into marriage with two RC-51s (2003, 2006 blk) and the wife had never ridden a motorcycle... One -100 mile ride, and she wanted to ride all the time... Ha Ha ( until the next day).. Sooo, to that I bought a 2001 Superhawk(2,800 on clicker) 2yrs ago - Just put the S-hawk in the shop with 16,500....
Cycle World( i think, read it somewhere) released an report / were that his wife compared the passenger seat to a oversized Maxxi pad... Ha Ha

I believe current sportbikes are designed for 90 lb. teen-aged triple-jointed gymnasts as passengers.
All others need not apply (unless you have really good medical insurance).

I didn't mind riding 2 up on my warrior, it was a cruiser after-all. And I had some honeys on it for sure. But I didn't care much for 2-up on my VFR, and wouldn't even consider 2 up on my RC. I took of the passanger pegs and run the rear cowl. No passanger seat-ever! That's what the fjr1300 is for, imo.
