Picked up another VFR monday.

So I quite hijacking Subsailors thread I started a new one. Picked up this 25th anniversary Interceptor Monday. Has PCV, gutted pipes (to replaced with Staintunes as soon as I rob a bank), HID lights, and a 90 rear 8 spoke wheel powdered coated white along with the front wheel painted white. 5100 miles.

A few minor things wrong with it but will have it sorted out this week. Guess the other around the house chores will have to wait.

Nick

I'll have to wash it since I got caught in the rain bringing it home..

Here's a shot the previous owner had when it was cleaned up.

2000 RC51 - stock owned since new 5/2000
2006 RC51 - 2nd owner purchased 4/2015 with 1400 miles
1996 CBR900RR - mild resto/mod - done spring 2012
1990 Honda VFR - original stock owned since 1991
1975 Kawasaki S3 - restored in 2004-5 (sold 10-17)
2003 Kawasaki ZX7R - bought 10/2018
2007 Honda Interceptor 25th Anniversary purchased 7/2014
1972 Honda Mini Trail - 1st restoration in 1992, and 2016 restored to like new condition. (sold 2/18)

That looks a sweet bike, Motleyfan!
Only thing is, if you ride it any distance - keeping those wheels white will be a pain in the proverbial... I learnt after some 50,000 miles of cleaning a lot, to just paint them a dark Silver.

Carbon wheels will be next on mine.... once I fit a single centre lock spindle.

BTW, I found out today, the wheel you have there can also be converted for use with a single lock spindle (I think it's from an NC35, but will know more soon...if you're interested!).

You should just ride this so you can leave it in my garage....just in case the wife gets upset seeing it in the garage.

Very nice bike, love the color scheme and the white wheels. Should make a very nice looking, fun, and practical bike to get around on.

There was one at Simply Sportbikes in town and a trade for the Rc was worth a second thought.

He said 2nd thought, not 1st thought. That means he's keeping the 51.
