Factory Tool Kit

I just purchased what I'm hoping is close to the full tool kit that's supposed to come with the bike and there are a few things I wasn't sure of. What is the point of the tube like thing with a bent end (I think it's for leverage on the preload wrench) and the looped cable with a rubber thing around it... I dunno how else to describe that second one.

The tube with an end flattened is to attach to the spring preload spanner for leverage.
It's also used as an extension with the spanner to act a prop for the fuel tank when lifted.
Like this:

The looped cable is the helmet lock. It's used with the rear seat pad.
Here's how it works:

Hooray for finally having my preload adjusted! Also, hooray for having a way to hook my helmet to my bike! And cwp is a bastard for having what appears to be close to my dream garage. :P

I'm hoping I can find a previous generation speed triple to use as a rain/commuter bike for next season.

Raylee, unfortunately, I thought that people were putting the bikes that they have owned in their signature, not what they currently own. If you look in my garage right now, there is only the RC51 and a crap load of kids bikes. The S3 and the RC51 were in their together for a while, but I got ride of the S3 around Christmas time. It was a sad day, I loved that bike. Just couldn't justify having more than one bike.
