Engine stutter?

On the way home from a ride tonight, the bike started to stutter under acceleration, over bumps. The F1 light came on momentarily.
The problem got worse and worse.

It has a full Hindle and a power commander.

Any ideas where to start checking?

The first thing I'd check for is loose battery connections - tighten 'em down good!

Yes. good point. my mind is full of things to check. First thing that came to mind was the main fuse. Chec all connections. Check security of power commander fastening.
All electrical connections. Plugs. air box....the list goes on. I'm just wondering if this is a common issue with an SP1.

It's a classic symptom.
You can search and find many members who reported the same behavior.
The vibration tends to loosen a few things over time.
