had bike up for sale...now had a change of heart

So...had my bike up for sale for about 6 weeks there and didn't really get much serious interest other than from a couple of tyre kickers looking out for a bargain, so I pulled it off Gumtree and decided I'm going to keep it, but also decided i should then give it an service and replace a few consumables as its been a few years since its last service even though its only done a couple of thousand miles if that since then, and an overall check to see if anything else needs done, so decided that i am going to replace every fluid and filter (except the fuel filter, that will be tackled another time) as well as new chain and sprockets as i want to drop a tooth on the front sprocket.

also wanting to check if i'm correct in thinking that i pretty much need to dissasemble the front end(wheel and spindle, calipers, mudguard etc) and slide the forks right out of the yokes and off the bike to change the fork oil?
has anyone did a guide on here? anything else i should check/replace while i'm at this point? pretty sure i can manage it "mechanically" its just more the holding the front end up bit I'm less sure on what my options are as the sp1's a bit of a heavy pig and not sure if the front stand i have will take it lol

anyone in the UK recommend a place to get all the bits from? or is it just a case of hit ebay and find sellers of service kits?

probably should check the valve clearances too, as its on its 16k mileage

You only need to take off the side fairings for an oil change which should just take about 20-30 min total if you don't get sidetracked...

Yeah i know that, i was talking about the fork oil when talking about pulling the front end to bits, should have been more specific.

planning to try and do it all over a weekend, so fork oil changed, engine oil and filter, plugs, air filters, brake and clutch fluids replaced and bled, new coolant, new chain and sprockets, i may as well chuck in new brake pads front and rear while it's all in bits.
