Thanks mb. After I posted that I immediatly googled. Guess what the first result was? Yep, RC51 forums. IAT sensor. I just plugged that back in last nite when I finished my fuel pressure reg. and air filters. I will recheck, Gawd I hope it's that easy...

Me too....make sure the wiring is in the flexible stay or pinching may occur. (Plastic coated steel piece)

Thanks mb, got it going. PC111r seems to be the culprit. I'll find out tomorrow I guess.

Did it go away when you unplugged the PC?

Wished I could ride 36...

Yes, it did. I don't know but that seems a little weird.
We hit some rough patches on the Interstate. Man, these highways are going to hell here in some places. ECU, PC and tool bag got tossed arouund a bit. Got them resucured.
I guess the PCIIIr that I bout used just took a dump. It didn't act up when bumpy. I was just slowing for a traffic light and without warning, died. done.
Anyway, keeping my fingers crossed...

Initially you said the FI light blinked once, then nine more times.
Was the single blink quick or slightly longer than the nine blinks?
A long blink is place 10, and the quick blinks are place 1.

If you got 1 long, 9 short, that's a code 19 which is a pulse generator related problem.
And a pulse generator fault will strand you.

If the blinks are all short with a pause between them, the you have a code 1 and a code 9.
A code 1 is a MAP sensor related problem, and code 9 is an IAT related problem.
The MAP sensor is located on the throttle bodies, and the IAT is on the snorkel.

Both MAP and IAT will still allow the engine to run, but the ECU uses default values, not actual measured values, so the engine may not run perfect.

Also the ECU stores all codes it detected over time.
So you might want to clear the current stored codes in order to view any currently detected codes that may appear.
