So I got my valve adjustment a bit late :P

I'm sitting at just around 26k miles, give or take because I don't have a speedo healer. Luckily one of the techs at my job did the valve adjustment for a really really fair price. Anyways, only two valves needed adjustment and they weren't even that far out of spec. On top of that, the tech complimented the motor on looking super clean which put me in a really good mood. I don't really notice any performance difference, although I no longer have this weird little throttle hesitation I used to have. I was really thinking about selling this bike, but looks like I'd be better off just buying new fairings and cleaning it up and making it the bike I want it to be.

I knew it!!!
I told you to keep the bike! remember? You're gonna get thru the issues, and when you do... Beside's look at how much you learned about it.

That's good news. It's just that these bikes are so different from anything else, and everybody loves them. For good reason, imo!
