Idle control Cable Routing Issues

Hey Yall,

Sorry it's been some time since I posted last. The RC51 is back together, and I have put about 700 KM on, and just love to ride this beast.

My build post is still to come, but I want everything to the Dyno before I post, that way I can get it all up here.

So question..

Just wondering about where to route the idle adjustment cable. This might be hard to explain, but I keep routing the cable from the connection point on the throttle body assembly, and then down and in front of the drain line off the airbox ( the one which leads to the over flow resevoir), and then in between the frame and that same drain line, and then out to the hook where the "twisty or knob" part sits. (when I say in front of the drain line I mean to the front of the bike)

I was thinking of trying to route it behind that drain line off the airbox, but that drain line is one hell of a son of a *$^%($&&*#&# to hook up, so if its just poor design, and not poor routing, I'd rather leave it all alone. If I route it this way it'll make a sharp bend right away, and it'll have to snake it's way to the hook. The way I have now "appears" to be the most direct route.

The way I have currently have it , it is extremely hard to make any adjustments big or small, and it just does not move smoothly at all. It feels as though I'm going to break the idle cable off again ( yes again, Ben hooked me up with a replacement)

Thanks a ton for any input
