Facelift for my bike - Colin Edwards Stars & Stripes

So I have re-painted my bike again. This time I went for the Colin Edwards Starts and Stripes Scheme.

This is of course all airbrushed, no vinyl or graphics on the bike, all masked out and painted sequentially and all the logos are airbrushed as well.

First trip out this weekend and the attention she got was phenominal - painted her with a view to selling but dont really want to now if im honest!

Indeed - much faster than I used to be! All my buddies ride big horsepower inline fours and I always suffered, so I used my GSXR whilst I painted the RC51, however when I got back on the RC51, I left them all standing! Very bizarre indeed!

I guess time out can actually make you better?

That's really awesome! I know all about how much work that is, spent some many hours prepping my bike for my friend who's a professional painter.
Who cares if your not the fastest. You don't need to be when you're on that machine! Cause anyone who knows the RC51, you got nothing to prove. You sure don't want anything to happen to all that work you just put into it.
Your dirtbike helmet is kickass too! My airbrush friend owes me a pretty big favor. Hmmmmm......
Here's the last helmet he did. It's my friends, but he's bikeless now, so I ganked it and wear it.

Nice work on the lids - I bloody hate painting helmets! lol

The wheels are a mission in themselves. They are House of Kolor urethane Paga Gold candy over a champagne base with gold ice pearl for added sparkle. They do look proper bling and make the standard gold powdercoated rims on my Gixxer look dull in comparison!
