finally, got all my teeth back

Just replaced my alum sprocket with a supersprox sprocket. Got rid of the 520 and went back to 530 for wider pitch and overall better durability. going to post 2 pics, check out how many teeth are missing from my old sprocket.

Supersprox:

Supersprox is good stuff...add a little weight for durability. Looks good

In case some may think aluminum sprockets are not very durable, here's my Vortex F5 rear sprocket I installed in 2008.
While it does show a little wear, it has well over 18K miles on it and has many more to go.
I installed it, a Renthal 15T front sprocket, and an RK XSO chain at the time.

The RK chain has been super good and hardly ever needs adjusting.
I still clean and lube the chain every 800 miles, which is the main reason it's been lasting so long.

Sweet Subsailor, with RT33 right behind my house I've given the alum sprocket i've had hell. I know an SV doesn't have the tourqe we have with the RC but the SV hasn't shown hardly any sign of wear. Ready to see where the Supersprox takes me with the RC. 500 miles til 40K, wish me luck!!!!!!.

Cleaning and maintaining the sprockets and chain is the key....I clean mine after every riding session over 4 hours...this way you know the chain is good and warm

Amen. That's everything right there.

Erbgottie, I hope you didn't throw that sprocket away. That's the most haggared out hogged out excuse of a sprocket I've ever seen I LMAO when I saw that first photo. That's about 2 throttle yanks away from freewheeling! That would put some real excitement in your ride
