Circuit of The Americas kaput

Well it looks like the hoped for track under contruction in Austin, TX that would have hosted F1, MotoGP, and Aussie V8 Supercars is dead.

Not to piss in everyone's Wheaties.....good, asshole Bernie from F1 can F off again, Love Indy fans.

I am sure the track is/will be great for sure....I just can't stand that bastard Bernie Ecclestone. He is ransoming yet another track for cash, Indy could have kept the race here for a tidy sum of $35 million cash.

Gonna be some uhhhh unhappy Texans!
I loved the reference to Perry's campaign, hahaha.

It looks like a lot of excavation has already been done. Maybe someone else will carry the torch and try to rejuvinate it in the future.

I had no idea a track had to pay that much for MotoGP!
My jaw dropped when I read that in Subs articles.

I know how you feel.....I miss the Indy races too. They would have been an excellent boost for your city. (F1 and the MotoGP)

The key to IMS's success....they ask the tax payer for nada, nil, nothing....zero. This is how they have built such a great loyalty with the locals.

Unlike the NFL and the NBA that hold cities hostage to build these mega arenas, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway is self sustaining and actually pays back Indianapolis with a $5~7 million shot to the economy with each of the shows they hold. (These are conservative figures)

One day someone will finish what was started...once all of the greedy bastards are out of the way.
