Rc51 will not start, help.

I have a 02 Rc51 thats having trouble starting.
When I turn my bike on, it struggles to turn on.
When I try to start it, I get a rapid clicking noise.
I've never had this problem before and Im stuck.

I know that the battery is not the problem. Battery is good to go.
I believe that the motorcycle is not charging my battery, but thats just one part of the problem. And everytime i try to start it, It will make the rapid clicking noise and drain the battery even more. I bought a new battery to see if that was the problem, and turns out the samething happened to the new battery. Ive checked the starter relay, no blown fuses, no melted or broken wires. Power Commander is plugged.

Any suggestions, ideas/advices?
Thanks!

Check your connections, particularly the main ground to make sure the connection is good. Open up your connectors and apply some dielectric grease after to clean the, if you see corrosion.

Does the fuel pump purge?

I'm not that fuild on the ins and out of the RC's electrical system, but I had a similar problem on my old Chevelle. And it was a bad ground for the starter.

But a bad or weak ground will cause strating problems on anything.

Yes the fuel pump purges.
Which connectors are you talking about exactly because ive checked the starter relay and it looks fine.

Even when i turn the bike on, it struggles to turn on and the purge is a little weak as well.
but i dont think the fuel injection is the problem

what and where is this stator located?
I've been told by a mechanic that it could be the reason why its not starting. but i havent done a diagnostics test on it so im not sure.

the stator is the left side of the engine basically, grab your owners manual or download one of the internet, it talkes all about how to check/ remove replace it

Take an amp draw of your battery with the bike off. What you describe so far is there is a draw with the bike just sitting off....

Basically all connectors. While you are surfing around in there looking for these items, you may as well do some preventive maintenance.

How do I take a draw of my battery with the bike off?
I think I understand what you're saying but can you explain it? (easy terms)

I've also been reading other articles from different forums and I've read that it could be the rectifier or the stator.

So im going to open up the stator annd see whats inside to see if their is anything that does not look right? Can I get advice for what to look at when I do so?

If I dont find anything in the stator, shall i assume its the rectifier?
