A New Buell

I know, Buell? In a RC51 forum?

Well I thought this bike was pretty cool looking. Being the cool bud that he is, Madbuyer sent me a couple pics from the motorcycle show he went to last weekend.
What do you think of the looks of this bike? Anyone ridden a newer buell?

So is this one of Eric's latest/greatest and 'free standing' creations since he left the clutches of the strangling (HD) fold? Looks savage really.

It is a new bike. Felt really light, almost like a newer 600. As it should for what the thing costs.

Here are some of my shots from the show here in Dallas:

I used to work a lot of the Buell Inside Pass Track Days. One of my jobs was to scrub the new tires in on all the demo bikes. Some of those Buells were a lot of fun and while I wouldn't really consider owning one I do appreciate what they are capable of. They certainly surprised me...

I'd love to get a test ride on the new one there!

No different than the Ducati 1098R back in 2008, which also went for $40K.
