Looking to but a used Ohlins or Penske rear shock for my SP1. Might consider new if the price was right. Who has one or where are the deals at?

I thought Ohlins quit making the HO204 a couple of years ago.
About the same time Sato quit making their slip ons.
Did they start making them again?

We had them make a special run just for us. I have them sitting on the shelf ready to ship.

I saw that price on the web. Just thought I would give it a try for used before I pulled the trigger. Lotta cash for just a track bike, but I know I would be happy. Gonna wait a day or so and see what I can come up with, but it looks like I'm heading your way. Thanks for the reply.

Just remember what you are really paying for when you spend money on quality suspension pieces is a larger margin of safety & a great margin of error...

You get to ride quicker with less drama and stand a much better chance of keeping it on two wheels even if not on the asphalt when you do make a mistake if the bike is compliant and working with you rather than against you.

When you go to sell the shock, you'll recoup more than half your money too....

Shit, that's a damn good deal. I think my used one was $800, add in $50 for the used spring and $30 at a shop to change it out and that's pretty damn close.
