Change settings for passenger?

Do any of you guys make suspension adjustments when putting an average girl on the back? Never rode my RC with a passenger, but will be soon.

It occurs to me to get someone of equal size as your average girl with you on the bike. Then after you've recorded all your current settings, go ahead and adjust your sag, preload, and comp/rebound. Record those settings.

Then when the occasion arises, you'll have your recorded setting and can adjust your suspension in a few quick moments to accommodate a hottie.

Other's here know a lot more so maybe they'll chime in, but I think you can only get close to compliance because you're adding an extra 100 - 175 pounds of weight and keeping the same springs and valving in your shock and forks. So don't expect it to feel as compliant as you're used to - assuming you have dialed it in for your own rider weight.
Personally, I don't ride passengers on my RC51. It's just so much bike, that I'd rather take passengers on other bikes like my old VFR... but that's just me ....

Hmmm... Falling asleep? Try having the engine running and actually driving down the road. Maybe that will help keep her awake

hmmm good point haha she isnt the only one that does that my buddies wife does that also on his 2000 Rc51..

Original post i just turn the knob on the rear shock up like 3clicks (cant remember what that knob is for) but that always makes it good for riding 2up

First sign that happens is when her weight shift forward to you and it kills your legs and arm
