Picking up a garage mate for the RC tomorrow :)

Well I walked into the local Honda shop for Honda brake fluid, honda oil, and filter to do an oil change on my rc51 while its all tore apart getting the braided lines put on, new tires, and the rims powder coated white. Well while I was their I saw a 2008 CBR 1000rr and got to talking to my buddy (owners son and sales man) well long story short I am picking it up tomorrow.

Its a 2008 1000rr with taylor made exhaust, bmc filters, power commander, and some other goodies. It has 4500 miles on it and I think it will look nice next to my 04 RC51. I really wanted a repsol paint scheme but the red and black reminded me of the 07 that I had.

Well now I have the best of both worlds and can keep the miles lower on the RC51

Shoulda kept the '07, I know I miss my '06.

Beside, there is a Repsol right behind it!

This is one reason the wife hates it when I have to go into any dealership. She has been know to get a phone call to come pick up my car

I should have kept the 07 It was all done up and I bought it brand new and got to uncrate it myself then modded the hell out of it before I ever put on the first mile.

The repsol they have is an 07 and they want 11k for it. it has 200 miles and is the owners bike from his collectiong. It has arrow gp exhaust, sato rear set, carbon fiber bits, bmc race filters, power commander, and more stuff than I can name. He has a repsol of every year, a 04 rc51, all the camel smokin joe cbrs and a bunch of other stuff.

already looked at the oil problem( I am a member on 1000rr.net) Talked to the orig owner and the service records from the dealer, the sold it new to the guy. It has no issue with oil what so ever.
