Front Sprocket Cover creation Interested???

Ok here is the deal. I have limited access to a CNC machine and besides a couple projects that are getting done for me Ive decided to see if there is any interest to reproduce a special Item. I know the Hayden mod is pretty popular on the RC and 1000RR bikes (04-07) and prolly even the super chicken VTR1000F. Long story short I have this neat part i found years ago that is no longer made for my CBR1100XX. Its a billet aluminum sprocket cover. If no one is interested thats fine I will just make one for myself!!!! Attached is the picture for the one that is on my XX. They look super fancy with a billet clutch slave too!

As far as price goes I cant set it yet until I get it into production but I would imagine it would be between 90-125 bucks, maybe a little cheaper if the numbers are high. Once the prototype is finished I can give a better estimate as I figure in time spent and exact materials. I am hoping that all of the parts can be made from scrap pieces (not junk, but left over from making a trophy truck hub) to keep cost very low. I will also play around with the design to make it more a 1 piece instead of multiple parts. It will still be multiple pieces but I would like them to key together. From experience (installing this on my XX) it was quite challenging to install it almost like putting a puzzle together so part of my goal is to make it more Sailor Proof. Nothing personal Sub!!!lol Right now I have another part going into production (scotts and GPR steering damper mount for CBR1100XX) once that is done this will start hitting the streets. Im not doing this for profit just know its a part I want and I think others would also like. I will have the ability to get it anodized (of course additional cost) and possibly laser engraved if you want anything special on it. I am not advertising this on Speedzilla just here. I will post a picture later of what it looks like installed on my XX so you can better see and get an idea what it looks like on a bike.

No worries how about an Ohlins steering damper mount? Have you ever made one?

nope and dont plan on it...lol Im only making parts that I would like to have, and will make them available to others once I am satisfied with the product. I dont have an Ohlins damper, well I take that back, my Scotts damper also says Ohlins on it, but its a radial damper not axial. I have noticed a few on ebay for other model Honda, wonder if they will work with the RC.

You need to make a bunch of these top triple clamps!

FWIW, the Scotts and GPR dampers mount directly to the tripl clamp. ;-)
