16/41 here as well. It's best of both worlds. That is my 2 cents.

I'm running a 16/42 set and I'm very happy with it. Some time I wish I had a 15 layn around that I could throw on from time to time. But for every day use 16/42 is where I'm stayign

Sorry to hijack, but I'm in the same boat. I noticed too that the gearing is too tall for city. For mad and atv, you guys are running 16/41 with the stock rear tire size or 180/55? According to rc51.org, running 16/42 may cause problems with 180/55 and that's what I'm using. Thanks and sorry again drty.

No worries. For the record, I'm running 190/55. It's perfect for me. I might try the 180 next time just because it's cheaper.

A 190/55 is even taller than a 180/55.
