Running and Idle issues ?

MY rc51 starts with no issues, I choke it, I can hear the inj. prime and starts fine but once it starts and warms up the rev idle goes up and then down, it revs high around 3k and then drops down to 1.5k. After the bike warms up the choke is released and the bike will studder and stall out, NO FI CODE SHOWING UP? I hope it is something simple and not the TPS. OH and it started about two weeks after I INTALLED THE PCIII, I ran the map the correct map for my current mods, I have removed the PC III and it runs a little better but not 100%

lift your tank, remove your airbox and take a look at your fuel pressure regulator... its on the back right side of the throttle body assembly. there is a vacuum line on the end of it. if you pull that off and its wet you have your problem. it is a common issue and a $50 fix. good luck

hmmmm....probably not a likely solution but have you tried disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes and "reset" the ecu. also when you disconnected the power commander did you check the plugs for corrosion/ tightness?

I had the battery disconnected when I was removing the PCIII, I will look at my connections today and see if there is something loose

I've got it.... sorry i didnt think about it earlier, but if your FPR was bad then you need to take out and either replace or clean off your spark plugs. the extra fuel will gum up your tips pretty good. try cleaning them up and see if it clears up your idle
