Should i do this

Ok so here is the Situation im in.

My friend has a 2001 Honda Rc51 and i have a 2002 Rc51 well he is talkin about trading his in on a Cbr 1000rr (he has had alot of problems with his rc51 so now that its runnin right he wants to get away from it)well the deal is the bike was a former track bike a guy in NH had an it has a ohlins rear shock an a set of dan kyles front forks an he said that he would rather see me get the suspension an just swap my stock stuff over to his bike an put the aftermarket stuff on mine..
My Question is will i notice that much of a Difference with that suspension stuff or should i just keep my stock stuff?

there is no question here, why is it not yet done? Id just trade him bikes... SP 2 better than SP1 and his trade in value wont change.

this sounds like a terrible idea. You should let me contact him and I'll swap my stock parts for his bits.

If his is an SP2 and your's an SP1 the swap won't be all that straightforward, or am I wrong?

Euro RC51 SP2: HRC WSB Ti Hi-Level, T1 Airbox & Snorkel, PCIII, Dymag CA5 Carbon Wheels, Ti64 Spindles (F, R & Swing Arm), Mori Link, Maxton GP7 Shock & Ohlins 832 Forks, Brembo GP Calipers & SBK narrow track (F), Braketech Disc (R), Brembo billet Underslung x 2 Brembo RCS, Tyga Triple, 7075 Stem, Probolt Titanium all over, Babyface rearsets, MR Complete Carbon Lineup, Custom Undertail & CBR 1000 LED, Watsen LED Indicators, Harris Brace, Giles clip-ons, Corbin seat, etc. 2013 BOTY.

You are correct.
The shock will work but not the forks "from what Ive been told". Plus his is an SP1, I would just swap out shocks ASAP. Im not knocking the SP1 because thats what I have, but evidentley the SP1 issues were cured with the SP2.
Just my opinion.
