Bike chokes at 80 85 when throttle is cranked

Like the title says. Today I was riding home from work moving about 85 or so racked the throttle back at about 7k rpm trying to take off and bike choked. The FI light flashed briefly, there was a major power loss and it basically scared the shit out of me. The bike has about 17.5k mi and has had very few problems. No flapper, aftermarket exhaust, pc,... I know this has nothing to do with it probably but last night put new front and rear sprockets and chain on. Has anyone had a similar or the same problem?

If the FI came on briefly and then went out, it almost sounds like a momentary loss of power to the ECU.

Check all your battery connections to ensure they're tight.
We get many similar reports of a situation like this.
The vibration can tend to loosen connections over time.

Also it can happen if the tank was raised for filter servicing and was lowered onto one of the cable harnesses that pass near the left frame spare and tank edge.
It has happened where bruising or severing of wires in the harnesses has occurred.
