radiator mount pics

Hey just need a quick favour...I have the body work off doing typical work on the bike and I noticed something odd with the radiator mounts. I think I'm missing something there.

If someone could post a pic of the rad with no body work...especially the upper mount on the frame. It would much appreciated. Maybe a couple of close ups?

Thanks

There's a couple pictures in this thread. If you need more, she may be willing to help you out.

Either side does not matter but its the mount that attaches to the frame, on the left side it would be the upper left mount and the right side the upper right mount.

Looking again its odd the mount is there, there seems to be a bolt hole and grommet but in the actual frame itself it seems there is nothing for the bolt to thread into.

The rad seems solid and well mounted but something says to me that its not quite right.

Thanks

I recently did some work on my left side radiator - what do you think is missing from yours? Are you trying to remove your radiator or...?

There should be two bolts securing the top of the radiator to the frame and then one down below at the bottom - the one on the bottom was the one I had trouble with (search for my "finally found one" thread; I might have posted pictures in there that show the top radiator mounting bolts too, can't recall though - I know I posted a pic of the lower bolt/mount).

It sounds like you are putting SP2 radiators on an SP1.

No but I'm just curious...the top mount there is a bolt holding the rad correct?

Mine has no bolts holding the rad but no movement what so ever?

There just seems to be a hole in the frame but nowhere for the bolt to bolt into. Just wondering if this normal or if there is something missing.

There is a big hole (about big enough to slip a digit in there) that a rubber piece with a threaded insert (kinda gold colored) goes into, then the screw goes into that. Kind of like a big windscreen well-nut.
