Rode the Ridge Last Week

I did at track day on the 25th at the new facility in Shelton Wa. Had a blast, bike worked well. Another dude actually had a bike much tricker than mine, with a CF fuel tank, Ohlins fork and other cool items. See the pic for proof that the May Bike of the Month got a work out!

PS- this track is awesome, the day was sold out and everyone who rode it is ga-ga over it.

Are'nt you supposed to be moving back here soon?

Hey Greg, it was nice meeting you at the track, you were riding great! Like the Castrol theme of your bike.

Are you planning on doing anymore 2Fast days? I will be at Pacific Raceway on the 6th then back to the Ridge on the 9th.

Be this the bike of which you speak? ( I have since added go fast stickers!)

I will probably not get back to the Ridge until August, summer schedule is to jammed with family and vacation stuff. Really looking forward to it though.
I do like the 2Fast approach. Not as rigid as PSSR.

Yep, just got up here a couple weeks ago. I'm going to try and get out to the track up here sometime this summer. Unfortunately weekend time will be at a premium for me. I'm playing single father while my wife is back in Texas finishing school until December. The ridge is nice and close to me though...

Nice! I'm signed up for the 2-fast event next Saturday, the 9th. Unfortunately, I got a pretty severe concussion at Miller Motorsports last weekend (not filling in for Johnny Rea; on the go-carts of all places) and I'm still having some dizzy spells so I think I'm going to cancel. I'd rather wait to experience that track when I'm fully fit.

Damn go carts. You would probably have good luck selling/transferring that trackday, as everyone seems to like that track so far. I'm pretty sure most of the recent events have been sold out for a while.

Cool, where are you located? Track day tomorrow, have time come out and watch if you cant ride. Satursday @ the ridge should be fun as long as it doesn't rain! How old is your kid? Might be able to work something out with my wife to watch at the track if you want. We sometimes take our 2 1/2 yo son with us.

Ouch no fun. You can always contact Mark DeGross (2Fast owner) and ask for a rain check if you don't make it. That way you can wait until the last moment to decide.

My daughter is 2 1/2. That would be awesome but I work during the week, and my bike is in pieces right now in storage. I'm going to try and get it out this weekend and start putting it back together at least enough to get it road/track worthy. I have to put stuff back on like the exhaust, throttle bodies, radiators, handle bars, wiring harnesses.... You know, just the little stuff. I dragged ass a little at the beginning of the build and got screwed around on a couple key parts, so it has been much more slow going than I planned.

I just picked up a ninja 250 too, so that will be requiring some attention: http://pnwriders.com/projects/171087...otorcycle.html

I haven't been on a track since October, so I am starting to get itchy. I'll have to get out there so I can drool all over your shiny bike.

I'm always right.
