was riding and the tank got hot along with the frame after 60 miles of riding, then the FI light came on. bike wasn't running funny or anything but when i let it cool down the fI light goes out. has anyone had this issue? I am thinking the fuel may be getting close to boiling so its throwing the FI light. Also what is the best anti-freeze to run in these bikes.

There is no way the ECU can measure the fuel's temperature. So your FI comes on for a different reason IMO.
You should consult your servixe manual and jump the service connector so that the ECU can flash you (now...that sound dirty! ) the fault's code through the FI's light by blinking it.
By the way, what was your temperature indication on the dash, when that overheating occured?
