H2O Temp

Help with normal operating temps with ambient 90's. Last ride temps were 195 up to 240?

That is about normal....the more stop and go you do, the higher the temps climb.

Try to keep it below 230 if you possible can by changing your driving habits.

Running anything above boiling (IMO anyway) requires more frequent oil changes.

I use Engine Ice in mine and it hasn't gone above 225 since...

^ +1

It should kick on at 219-220 and keep running till about 210.
Do you have SP1 or SP2?

SP2, ambient temp was high 90's and I did a short stint on a gravel road where the temp went up. When I got back to pavement and grossly exceeded the speed limit it leveled out between 195 and 210. Engine Ice/Water Wetter is in order. Thankx M
