Rear brake pads that don't suck?

I have an sp1 and it has white wheels on it.. I don't over use the rear brake and that wheel gets filthy, it drives me crazy. I washed it and went for a ride and 15 miles later there is a dirty stripe on the wheel in line with the rotor. The previous owner said he replaced the pads so I'm guessing he put the cheapest thing he could find on it.. What are some good pads to use that won't make the wheel overly filthy and grab at the same time?

if your that worried about it why don't you just remove the whole thing and drop >10lbs from it. lol The front pads is what really does all the work, try focusing on just using front for awhile. as for pads my wheels are chipped black and i got some cheapo pads that work just fine for what I do. This question LDH might answer better or other senior members more familiar with the topic. sorry I can't help much on the topic.

Unfortunately, brake dust is to be expected with any brake use.
When brakes are used, the pad material ablates which carries the heat away with it.
Some pad material may have more ablation, which causes more dust.
Do you know if the rear pads are organic or sintered?

White wheels....between brake dust and chain goo, have fun with that.
