Orlginal Sato high-mount fittment

Good Evening all;

Question about the original (1st generation) Sato high-mount slip-ons. I'm referring to the ones pictured on the Rogue site here:

http://www.rc51.org/gallery/ldhnews.jpg

In the supporting text, LDH describes these as being designed for the SP-1, and later superseded by the Banzai iteration.

Since they were designed for the SP-1, are they not compatible with the 2002 - 2006 SP-2?

Thanks in advance,
Dave

The mids are curved different to fit SP1 headers, specifically on the left side....So no

SBK is correct however, Sato did make high mount exhausts (not banzai) for SP2's. I have a set but I've only seen one other set for sale though.

Thanks for the responses/education gents.

Follow-on question for 2.5k5 then... Do the Sato high mounts on your SP-2 allow for retention of the passenger pegs (without having to swap the peg brackets side to side, and have the pegs fold forward instead of back)?

No. The exhaust was sold to me with pass peg adaptors that moved the pegs forward and down. I actually just sold the adaptors to another member here Friday.

2.5 do you have any information on your SP2 high mount set? I am currently trying to sell a high mount set that is NIB but can't find anything that says whether it is for an SP1 or SP2. Have a call in with the original owner of the exhaust but that may not be his number any longer.... Any help is appreciated.
