Rear passenger seat

Hey guys I recently bought a 2000 RC but I’m having trouble finding the rear passenger seat. Is there a site that sells the whole seat and not just the cover

Any honda parts site, ebay, here. They are easily found for sale used but often at inflated prices.

Man, I just dropped $140 to buy a new seat cowl/cover. The seat really detracts from the looks, IMO, and there's now way my wife is getting on the back of it. Are you going to have some passengers? I'm pretty sure mine is in great shape and I'd consider selling it. I'll let other people stress about keeping all the stock parts.

Garage
It makes a nice base to put/strap a bag on.... 🙂

Old enough to know better, young enough not to care.

You also can't use the helmet cable with the solo cover.

Yes I couldn’t find anything unless it was a cover not a seat.

I found this but it says it isn’t a seat just a cover. I’m looking into buying one how much are you selling yours? I’m in jersey

Good point. Maybe I should keep it for my tailbag for road trips. I figured I'd just put the bag right on top of the solo cover but now that I think about it...

Interesting, I guess some people use those... since my helmets have gotten more and more expensive over time (now a Shoei X-14) and I've always had a Sena BT comm unit attached, I'm not leaving $1160 behind. I carry that thing with me. I've been exposed to way too many break-ins and too much theft in my life to trust others.

A new rear seat for an SP2 is $113 at Partzilla. A new solo cover is $36.
