Starting issue and sprockett size

After changing my chain and sprockets i screwed my gear ratio up bad by going from 16/40 530 "stock" to 15/41 520 "conversion" i chose the 15/41 due to everyones comments on improvement. But it hurt my bike bad. I dont know if it because of the 130 link chain extension or going from 530 to 520 but i lost alot of top end. Bike pretty much maxs out around 115. What sprocket sizes do i need to order to get my top end back? I want to be able to at least hit 200mph.

Also what would cause me to have to charge my battery or jump it off after each ride? I can ride the bike all day long as long as i dont cut it off, but the second i cut it off it wont start back. I have bought 2 different batterys and its like neither one will hold a charge

I ran 16/41 for a while and liked that , now I'm 15/40 with a 190/55 rear tire , it's about the same. These won't do 200MPH without motor work. Put a meter on your battery , bike off , then running. You should get over 12v off and around 14v running. If it's not charging , next would be ohming out the stator windings. If the windings are OK , it's your voltage regulator.
