Rc51 misfiring

Last year my RC51 has started misfire beginning of this summer I started working on it I took the gas tank off air filters out clean the air filters and also I clean my injectors but the bike is still misfiring I was told that I should check my power commander and see if the wires are short or do I need a new one is there any suggestions someone help me please I need to take my bike out on a long ride.

Change your spark plugs. Are they black, white, tan? Drain the gas tank and refill with fresh. Is the power commander ground wire still attached to the battery?
