bike dont start

hello
i got a 2000 sp1
suddenly Bike has a hard start..i can hear the starting motor working..fuel pump prime..but just bike dont start...sometimes do and other do not.
i send injectors for ultrasonic clean..new sparks...check it on mechanic and coils working..has spark..
bike start at once if i push it and start in 2nd gear...bit with starter button start when she wants..
any idea please..

Let's assume your battery is good. Though the problem is almost certainly the battery.


If it is not the battery, you may want to clean out the starter motor. The brushes deposit carbon into the end bell and can cause ground faults. This increases the draw and decreases the starting torque. It's easy to take apart and clean.

i just start bike and start with a little job.
i unplug and replug the coil cable and start right away...so im assuming its the coil ..can i exchange front coil to back coil...make any difference?

it'll take you hours to get the front coil out. it's in a miserable place.

and if it were a coil problem, chances are the bike would ride badly. there's no way your coil is not good when starting but perfect once running.

bike runs amazing..so maybe i will try cdi fix changing transistores.. cuz bike start when she wants...its a cheap repair so can try that..i read a similar casť of cdi issue

If the bike runs amazing it cannot be the CDI


Stop replacing things and start thinking jeez haha

Test your battery. Check your starter.
