Wondering if anyone can help me out. A friend of mine was supposed to do an engine swap on my 01 RC, but only removed the old motor and never installed the new one. My problem is that I've been trying to piece it together with no pictures or knowledge of it. I'm almost complete except, the routing for the air temp sensor. The harness I believe comes from left to right across the front throttle body, hooks into the front coil pack, and also comes up in front of the airbox to hook up to the sensor. The problem I have is that the harness isn't long enough to reach the sensor. If someone could show me how their's is routed or give me some insight, I would greatly appreciate it. Cheers!!
I have downloaded the service manual, and it doesn't show clear enough for me to determine where exactly it lies. I was hoping someone had their tank off and could snap a picture to show how it's routed to the sensor.
Yes I've figured it out thank you. The vacuum pump and the air box temp sensor are the same plugs and whoever had it apart before me crossed the two.
