Twenty with my map, which reminds me the ONLY time I ran out of fuel was on my way home from the dyno and the injectors had just been cleaned and balanced the bike was like new it was Sooooo much better than stock I was wop wop wopp around every bend in the road twisting thru Lake Minnetonka feeling on top of the world and looking the part with my new $10.00 gas station polarised sunglasses UNTIL

BLAAAAAH Blap *FVKK* the motor let go? the power commander bellied up?
Shiit Iam in the miidle of no mans land and wtf am I goona do...calm down take off your helmet look things over... turn the engine over and see the low fuel light plain as day without the dime store polarised sunglasses

Okay there is a little cottage about an eighth mile up and low and behold a kindly old caretaker offers his snow blower gas he thinks is in the shed then starts to tell me how it hadn't snowed for two years and sure enough he produces a rusty can of varnish stinky ass rot to which I thank him for the offer and explain a ride to town would be greatly appriciated so he just loans me a truck and keeps an eye on fatty for me. I pour in a gallon offer him a ten he says keep it I just want hear this thing run again I thought a helicopter was landing in my yard when you crossed the bridge

Nice littlle story HUH??? v

I have not had the light yet ... I am too paranoid to go that far. I am accustomed to the fuel gauge on the VFR, or reserve on other bikes, to give me a feeling of comfort. I end up filling up with plenty still in there.
