About to end up with an RC51!

So it looks like I am coming into posession of a 2000 RC51 in the very near future.
Its in need of a bunch of work and currently doesn't run but hopefully with the help of this forum you guys can help me bring is back from the dead!

So i guess this is a new guy post.
I've been riding for about a year and a half and have a '05 gsxr600 that I rode cross country

Hopefully I fit in here!

Good luck, and great choice! I just picked up a 2000 myself that needs some work. My project runs, and sounds great! I have been wanting one for years, and now I feel like a kid in the candy store! I should be working right now, and not looking for parts on the net.... but I won't tell if you don't!

I should be working right now too...So I'll keep my mouth shut.

This bike doesn't run. It was downed so I'm thinking it could be the tip-over sensor.

It fire with some starting fluid. Sort of excited to get it. Sort of dreading it.

I like riding bikes alot more than working on them!

The best thing is to download the service manual.

The service manual is your best friend.
Especially the wiring diagrams and FI troubleshooting codes.
